Manual Adjustment

Manual adjustments are what most people think of when they envision a chiropractic visit. Manual adjustments employ various techniques to apply specific and gentle pressure to the spinal column and sometimes other joints (i.e., shoulders, hips, ankles, wrists). Dr. Tracy’s manual chiropractic adjustments offer benefits including improved posture, mobility, pain relief, and overall wellbeing.

X-Ray

In order to provide a diagnosis, it is often necessary to conduct an examination that delves beyond surface-level analysis. X-ray imaging is one of the most prevalent and cost-effective diagnostic tools in this regard. Through its use, Dr. Tracy looks for abnormalities that may cause physical limitations in daily life. By doing so, a better understanding of one’s condition is able to be obtained, and a specific treatment plan can be established. The ultimate goal is to improve the accuracy of a diagnosis, therefore, providing a treatment that is highly effective in achieving positive outcomes for patients.

Long-Axis Traction

Long-axis traction is a non-surgical technique that gently stretches the spine and discs: relieving pressure on the nerves and improving blood flow to affected areas. At Gulf County Chiropractic, Dr. Tracy uses a long-axis traction that allows him to  treat patients’ precise needs. The table is equipped with a computerized control system that monitors the amount of force and duration of the traction; patients often fall asleep during this relaxing treatment. Long-axis traction therapy is safe and effective.
